Dear PRI,
The puppet I ordered arrived today and I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and workmanship. I am a professional puppeteer and have always made all my own puppets, I needed an extra boy vent puppet because I have been switching one from show to show and it would be simpler to have a second puppet. I found you on line and your puppets looked so much better than everyone else's, plus everyone else had the same puppets with no personallity, and your prices were so good it didn't pay me to make my own. I am completely satisfied, I made the right choice and will definately use your services in the future. Plus your service was great .
Thanks again  Bob  Woyce"

We have all the resources you need to get started in puppeteering. View our selection of pattern books, script books and more. We believe that puppets should be used to animate--and for that reason--believe that an "unlined" puppet is superior for manipulation. You can maintain your puppets' appearance by brushing whenever they need a touch up.

The rod is a brass rod that rides inside a 1/8" brass tube. Consequently, a figure with this feature is best used in a venue that does not place you close to the audience.

Following is a picture of the headstick showing a traditional mouth lever and the one-finger control. And the beginning of the 21st a new generation of creative puppeteers, including roman Paska, Julie Taymor, and basil twist, were producing a variety of innovative new works and updated classics. A distinction is made between marionettes, moved by strings or wires from above, and hand puppets, in which the hand of the operator is concealed in the costume of the doll.

Let the other arm hang limp. Despite the uncertainty surrounding the origins of puppetry, there is no shortage of references to puppetry from ancient times. For both hands to work, two puppeteers are needed: One on the mouth and one hand, an additional puppeteer on the second hand.

Any phenomenon as complex and as vital as Christianity is easier to describe historically than to define logically, but such a description does yield some insights into its continuing elements and essential characteristics. The eye movement knob is at the front of the headstick about where the middle finger can operate it. In the latter instance, the stage is usually a relatively small area that the puppeteer can view through a piece of cloth that lets light through. This is achieved by simple adjustments of the wrist angle.

The headstick hole in the neck is slightly larger than 1 1/4" in diameter. The eyes are synchronized by a rod that runs from the rear dowels of each eyeball. Insert each arm through these cuts so that the thumbs face forward, the top of the arms should come through the wrong side of the body. Cut a horizontal slot across the headstick to intersect with the control rod slot.

The eye movement bent-out part must be long enough to move the eyes when the blinkers are up or down.
